How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is adiverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Aftermarket Sales Program & Marketing Manager, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and channel sales programs for SPX's aftermarket product lines. This role plays a critical part in driving growth across the HVAC Cooling and Process Cooling segments by shaping product positioning, developing compelling marketing tools, and enabling sales channels with clear, value-driven messaging.

You will work closely with engineering, sales, product management, and channel partners to translate product capabilities into customer-facing programs that increase demand and strengthen SPX Marley's competitive position. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing aftermarket training, promotional content, and sales enablement materials that communicate the value of Marley components and support revenue growth targets.

The successful incumbent effectively manages a challenging workload and, as needed, delegates tasks to supporting roles. Success in this role demands outstanding organizational, project planning, project management, and communication skills.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Drive Product Marketing & Sales Initiatives
  • Bridge product management, marketing, and sales to execute product-specific programs.
  • Build go-to-market plans, sales campaigns, and support tools for new and existing products.
  • Engage reps and service contractors through targeted training and product introductions.
  1. Develop Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
  • Research target markets, competitors, and product applications to inform the product roadmap.
  • Conduct market studies, surveys, and feedback analysis to refine product messaging and pricing.
  • Monitor and report on product line performance to support strategic decisions.
  1. Create Sales Tools & Support Revenue Growth
  • Produce brochures, presentations, and sales materials for channel partner training.
  • Develop parts-replacement ROI proposals and support quoting teams by filling product information gaps.
  • Collaborate with sales support teams to strengthen technical understanding across channels.

What we are looking for (Required/Ideal Experience, Skills, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, including developing product campaigns and communicating solutions to the customer
  • Aptitude to understand mechanical processes and work effectively with channel partners in an industrial component market
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced workloads and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ideal Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of industrial markets or customers and cooling towers is helpful
  • Aftermarket or distributor sales experience
  • Experience with HVAC, industrial processes, or power plants, as well as engineering documents, preferred
  • Familiarity with sales account management and channel sales dynamics
  • Ability to conduct onsite inspections and sales visits
  • Strong analytical and customer insights skills for supporting product and market strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Driver's License and proof of insurance

Travel & Working Environment

  • Onsite office environment, Monday - Friday when not traveling or in the field.
  • Ability to travel to jobsites for assigned projects to meet with customers.
  • Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.
  • May require working in an outside environment; exposure to excessive noise, heat, or bad weather.
  • The position may require working occasionally outside normal work hours.
  • Keyboarding/typing.
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to read effectively from a computer screen and/or a paper copy.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiples tasks in a fast-paced environment.
