ABX Materials Management Repair Controller - CVG

The Materials Management Repair Controller will process components for repair and establish work scope for each component repair order. Review component history and coordinate with Maintenance and Reliability departments during work scope creation as needed. Expedite repair orders to fulfill zero/low stock inventory levels. Resolve inbound component discrepancies. Approve/reject repair/overhaul quotations. Review teardown reports to verify work authorized was accomplished and coordinate with repair vendor as required. Review historical repair records to identify negative cost or repair cycle trends for review with Reliability. Coordinate with Warranty Administration as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years' aircraft technical experience
• Working knowledge and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Working knowledge of aircraft IPC's, Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins and related technical publications
• Ability work flexible work hours and independently with strong organizational, communication, problem solving skills and ability to work under stress
• Working knowledge of shop repair procedures and practices
• Ability to work with little or no supervision

Preferred Skills:

• Airframe or Power Plant License
• Aircraft, engine, and/or component maintenance planning experience
• Inventory, planning and control experience
• AA or BA in Aviation discipline
• Advanced knowledge of computer programming in an airline environment
• Maintenix experience
