Your Team, Your Impact

We are seeking an Senior Director of Hardware Engineering to join Marvell Semiconductor. In this role, you will define, develop, and communicate the technical vision for our Data Center ASIC chips while contributing to long-term strategy. This position is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge semiconductor solutions for the Data Center and AI infrastructure markets.

What You Can Expect

  • Define and develop the technical vision for ASIC chip development

  • Oversee the entire hardware engineering lifecycle from concept to production

  • Lead and mentor a large team of engineers in Digital IC Design

  • Run ASIC development at scale

  • Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure cohesive product development

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability

  • Manage the development and integration of IP blocks at large scale

  • Manage and Coordinate teams across different geographies to ensure seamless project execution

  • Contribute to the company's long-term strategy

  • Develop solutions tailored for Data Center and AI infrastructure applications

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Systems Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)

  • Extensive background in Silicon Engineering with focus on hardware functions

  • Expertise in Digital IC and Analog/AMS IC Design

  • Experience developing RTL for ASIC subsystems

  • Experience in cross-functional work, micro-architecture, design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing closure

  • Understanding of software and systems integration

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proven track record leading successful hardware engineering projects

  • Experience managing IP development and integration across multiple projects

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams

  • Knowledge of packet classification, processing, queueing, scheduling, switching, routing, and telemetry

  • Familiarity with Data Center and AI infrastructure requirements and technologies

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

207,820 - 311,300, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
