Washington County is seeking to fill Paralegal position in the District Attorney's Office on the Felony Team. Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a collaborative team player who possesses the ability to focus on their own responsibilities, as well as, take on other tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility, exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.Knowledge and experience in criminal law are preferred qualities as well as Spanish speaking, and advanced computer and technology skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Outlook Calendaring, TEAMS/Zoom, Adobe Pro, experience working in various data bases and software programs).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in legal studies or a related field from an accredited university; OR the successful completion of a comprehensive formal paralegal program; AND Three (3) years of paralegal experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a Paralegal Program approved by the American Bar Association

  • Experience performing paralegal work in the area of criminal prosecution

  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
