Team Leader, Survey - Fort Smith, AR

Halff has an immediate opening for a Senior Surveying professional to lead an established survey team based out of our Fort Smith, Arkansas office. What you will do:

• Responsible for overseeing and leading a Survey team in the Fort Smith office
• Manage Survey projects, budgets, schedules and submittals
• Marketing Survey services both internally and externally
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Oversee QA/QC and standard operating procedures
• Strategic planning
• Align Survey goals with firm goals.

What you will need:

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the state of Arkansas
• Bachelor's degree or Associates degree
• 3 years of management experience as an PLS in Arkansas with excellent communication skills
• 3 years of experience in boundary surveys and surveys for design in the State of Arkansas
• 10 or more years of practical surveying experience
• Good communication skills and ability to lead and coordinate with project managers, survey crews and survey technicians
• Familiarity with Geospatial, LIDAR and mobile mapping technologies

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in Land Development and/or ArDot projects and procedures is a plus
• Strong understanding of the overall Arkansas market
• Technical proficiency with Trimble Business Center and familiarity with Civil 3D is advantageous
• Active in professional organizations, professional development and mentoring of staff and maintains a network of relationships within the survey profession
