Convenience Store Lead

A fast-paced, family-owned convenience store and gas station is seeking a dependable Convenience Store Lead to help drive daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a retail or gas station environment, enjoys supporting a team, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly around the clock.

Hours & Pay

• Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour
• Schedule: 24-hour operation with open availability required; weekends included
• Training Schedule: One week, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

What You'll Do Each Day

• Assist with opening and closing the store to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Lead daily store operations and support cashiers and team members as needed
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and address customer needs promptly
• Train and support new employees on store procedures and expectations
• Operate cash registers and ensure accurate cash handling and drawer balances
• Assist with inventory control, restocking, merchandising, and product presentation
• Maintain store cleanliness and uphold safety and operational standards
• Help resolve customer concerns and reinforce compliance with store policies

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of leadership or management experience in a retail, convenience store, or gas station environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced setting
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, and basic cash handling
• Ability to lift and handle typical retail merchandise as required
