Inside the Role

Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations.

This role is in the Systems Digitalization team and supports the development of the Aftermarket (AM) Supply Chain group in their lean journey towards digital transformation to include data driven lean leadership and performance. This role will handle a wide range of business challenges focused on the digital backbone and to drive change using data driven decision making effecting the entire AM supply chain from suppliers to the end users of AM parts/service. This intern will help visually represent supply chain and inventory health through the use of analytics reporting metrics and presentations to staff-level/senior audiences. They will also study, recommend, and execute stocking strategies and planning logic to optimize Aftermarket's inventory investments to drive customer experience. Finally, this intern will generate automatic refreshing and on-demand reports, visuals, and tools using SQL queries or UI based data selection in Business Intelligence products (Alteryx, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Gather user requirements from end users for data products
  • Develop data engineering pipelines of clean data that can be used in downstream processes
  • Design and develop visuals that enable end-users to do self-serve analytics
  • Aid in our team's learning journey by investing time learning new tools/skills along-side full-time employees
  • Aid in the maintenance of the 200+ data products (PowerBI/Alteryx/Python/Winshuttle/ETC) that this team has developed and supports
  • Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
  • SQL knowledge required
  • PowerBI knowledge required
  • Alteryx experience preferred
  • SAP HANA experience preferred
  • SAP Analytics Cloud experience preferred
  • Supply chain experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Creative mindset
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to intern between 4-6 months preferred
