WhatYou'llDo

You'll collaborate with a supportive and forward-thinking team to:



  • Support the North AmericanRegional SustainabilityLeadto deliver againstMott MacDonald'ssustainability strategy.


  • Support the development of carbon reduction and climate transition plans.


  • Explore innovative ways to reduce scope 3 emissions, including supplier engagement.


  • Help communicate sustainability achievements across ourNorth Americanbusiness.


  • Assistwith data collection, analysis, and carbon footprint calculations.


  • Supportthe North American region withISO 14001complianceand EMS improvements.


  • Conduct research to inform strategy and stay ahead of sustainability trends.


  • Respond to sustainability questionnaires and contribute to bid responses.

Candidate Specification:

At Mott MacDonald,we'relooking for curious, motivated individuals who want to make a real difference. Join our purpose-driven teams where your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your work enhances the world we live in.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you should have three years of relevant experience and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in asustainability related discipline.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, and ready to grow.You'llhave:



  • Knowledge of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14001, and ISO 26000.


  • Experience in carbon foot printing and resource efficiency.


  • Awareness of sustainability disclosures, ESG frameworks, and legal requirements.


  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.


  • Analytical skills andproficiencyin Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.


  • A self-motivated mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.




Desirable Extras



  • Understanding ofCircular Economy principles and interventions.


  • Familiarity with TCFD, IFRS S1/S2, and TNFD frameworks.


  • Membership with a professional environmental organization.

Benefits & Reward

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $88,000 - $107,000.
