Job Description:

Microchip Technology's fast-growing Analog business unit is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join our Mixed Signal and Linear team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will play a critical part in bringing new analog and mixed-signal products to market, including ADCs, DACs, Digital Potentiometers, Temperature Sensors, and Operational Amplifiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an international New Product Introduction (NPI) team to successfully release new products to market.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and provide testability recommendations during the product design phase.
  • Design and implement Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions (hardware and software) for validation, qualification, characterization, probe, and high-volume final test.
  • Provide schematic and layout input to CAD engineers for the development of Probe and Final Test (FT) loadboards.
  • Debug new silicon and deliver feedback to the development team.
  • Support factory teams in debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing test solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in developing analog/mixed-signal hardware and ATE programs.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and VBA programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit design, circuit debugging, and simulation.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to four weeks, 1-2 times per year).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $205,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
