Welcome to the Maintenance department

The maintenance team ensures the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities, supporting uninterrupted production of high-quality probiotic supplements. By reducing downtime and maintaining regulatory compliance, the team plays a crucial role in delivering safe and effective products to customers.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Collecting and analyzing maintenance-related data to identify trends and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Generating actionable insights and provide regular reports to management to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Overseeing the ordering and restocking of spare parts, updating quantities in the CMMS system upon receipt.
  • Maintaining an organized system for supplies and materials to minimize downtime caused by missing or misplaced items.
  • Monitoring temperature and humidity systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
  • Setting up new assets in the CMMS system and ensure proper labeling for identification and tracking purposes
  • Keeping equipment records up-to-date to support preventive maintenance plans and audit requirements.
  • Contributing to Non-Conformance Report (NCR) investigations, including conducting root cause analyses for maintenance-related issues. Documenting findings and implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborating with external vendors and contractors, such as lawn care services, security systems, HVAC providers, fire protection, and other maintenance-related services.
  • Planning and overseeing small-scale maintenance or facility-related projects from start to finish, including project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.

To succeed you must hold:

  • Associate degree required (bachelor's degree preferred) in engineering, maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical roles
  • Proficiency in using CMMS software, inventory control systems, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and project coordination is preferred.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis, regulatory compliance standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project coordination, and inventory management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Fluency in English required, with strong written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.

Expected salary range:$60,000-$85,000 depending on experience
