Role Snapshot
Our Manager, IT Product Management, provides leadership and direction for a portfolio of IT products and platforms. This Manager leads a team of product and development resources responsible for defining, delivering, and optimizing IT products and solutions that support business objectives. They serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to ensure that IT products deliver maximum value, align with enterprise strategy, and are delivered on time and within budget. The Manager provides leadership in product vision, road mapping, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement, while also driving agile product management practices.

Salary Range
$140,000 ~ $165,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Hybrid Work Location
This position will be hybrid, having the regional availability to come into our Office up to 3 days a week. Our office location: WPS Corporate Center Building - 1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI.

Minimum Qualifications



  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), PSPO (Scrum.org), Certified Product Manager (CPM), or Certified Scrum Product Manager (CSPO).
  • 7 or more years of experience in IT product management or related roles.
  • 3 or more years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, enterprise IT products or portfolios, with a strong understanding of product management principles, agile frameworks, and end-to-end IT solution delivery across the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success leading product teams in an agile or hybrid delivery environment.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps), and iterative delivery practices including sprint cycles and PI Planning.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate division/business unit goals into actionable product strategies, while effectively balancing long-term vision with tactical execution.
  • Strong leadership, influence, and change management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor across diverse teams and complex organizations.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing product budgets, evaluating trade-offs, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with ability to align priorities and secure commitments across diverse teams and leadership levels.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with enterprise IT platforms (ERP, CRM, cloud, or healthcare systems).
  • Experience with WPS Systems tools as well as business line knowledge.
