Job Summary Under general direction of surgical services leadership, program coordinator will serve as the subject matter expert regarding the unit-educated surgical technologist program and the surgical technologist apprenticeship program. The coordinator will manage activities with placement, onboarding, education and documentation of the learning process. Demonstrating strong collaboration skills to build relationships with external education partners and internal education team members, preceptors and departmental leadership. The Program Coordinator must have a working knowledge of the surgical technologist role, including sterile technique as hands on demonstration is often needed with new learners. Essential Functions
