About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement updates for the Core Print UWP Scan application. Responsibilities include implementing new features and enhancements, fixing bugs, improving reliability and performance, and supporting testing and validation efforts. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and engineering partners to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and delivered on schedule. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and release readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for a core application.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, ensuring the stability and reliability of the application.
  • Optimize application performance and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, program managers, and engineering partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining high code quality standards.
  • Contribute to comprehensive documentation and support release readiness activities.
  • Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and support build, test, and release processes.


Qualifications



  • Must have 3-5 years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with C++.
  • 3+ years of experience with C# and XAML (or equivalent Windows application technologies).
  • 3+ years of experience with UWP/Windows application development.
  • 2+ years of experience in debugging, bug fixing, and code maintenance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
