Here's what you'd do:

• The client is looking for an experienced NI TestStand and LabVIEW Test Automation Developer to join our team in Ft Collins, Colorado.
• The Developer designs, codes, documents, and implements engineering and factory cost-effective and efficient solutions for manufacturing and service tests for several high-frequency, high-voltage circuits and systems that ensure high-quality standards.
• This position works alongside test design engineers to implement these tests, providing guidance, software development, support documentation, and a variety of technical, multi-disciplined tasks early in the Product Development Process to provide timely, flexible, universal tools and processes.
• The Test Developer makes knowledgeable, data-driven decisions and employs innovative designs with optimal control and maximum speed and flexibility.
• Design software solutions for test automation.
• Ensures test solutions meet the highest standards for code development and provides continuous improvement to existing test processes for both new product designs and legacy products.
• Providing feedback to design teams, addressing opportunities for defect detection in manufacturing and field uses
• Prepares test and diagnostic programs; creates, verifies, and validates automation tools to be used throughout the product's lifecycle
• Accurately estimate project costs and schedules associated with implementing test solutions
• Verify products meet their functional requirements - including design verification and manufacturing screens.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Minimum 5 years of product test development experience
• Minimum of 5 years' Programming experience in NI LabVIEW and TestStand, SQL, and Python
• Minimum of 5 years' Source Code Control experience)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a variety of general-purpose measurement equipment used in automation. I.E. Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, DAQs, and Switches.

• Object-Oriented Programming
• SQL scripting, database design, and support
• Strong understanding of manufacturing test environment and operator interfaces
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to influence design team decisions
• Demonstrated experience solving complex technical problems
• Expertise in programming automation and data collection
