Compensation: $55.00 - 62.50/HR W2 Job Description: Seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst to support the migration of our capital markets platform from the on-premise IBSnet system to CGI Trade360, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This role combines strong product ownership capabilities with hands-on business analysis, including requirements definition, process mapping, and support for testing and implementation activities. The ideal candidate has deep functional knowledge of CGI Trade360, understands the operational and technical nuances of IBSnet, and can bridge business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure a successful transition. Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize requirements based on business value, regulatory needs, and implementation dependencies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, CGI, and internal delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and Trade360 SaaS capabilities, leveraging standard functionality where possible.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for the migration from IBSnet to Trade360.
  • Perform current-state (IBSnet) and future-state (Trade360) process mapping, including gap analysis.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support data mapping, integration requirements, and reporting needs related to the migration.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes by adopting SaaS best practices rather than replicating legacy behavior.
  • Partner with QA and business users to define test scenarios, test cases, and expected outcomes.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect triage.
  • Validate that delivered functionality meets documented requirements and business expectations.
  • Assist with cutover planning, training materials, and post-go-live stabilization.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with CGI Trade360, preferably in a Product Owner or senior functional role.
  • Prior experience working with IBSnet or similar on-premise capital markets platforms.
  • Proven background as a Business Systems Analyst, including requirements documentation and process modeling.
  • Experience supporting SaaS implementations and migrations from legacy on-prem systems.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets workflows (e.g., trading, settlements, reference data, lifecycle processing).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Product mindset with a focus on business value
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity during system transformation
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in capital markets systems.
  • Experience working directly with vendors in a packaged software implementation.
