We're seeking a dynamic and motivated contributor to join our team in one of our key office locations: Bellevue.

About the Internship

We are looking for University students pursuing a Computer Science degree who are interested in a 2026 Summer Internship on the Site Reliability team and that are passionate about building large-scale, mission-critical software in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate will share our passion and pride in deploying mission critical systems at scale and have an interest in solving one of a kind problems.

What You'll Get To Do

• Design and deploy high-performance, scalable software features
• Implement features in a Scrum/Agile environment

Who We Are Looking For

• BS in CS or related technical degree and graduating December 2026 or Spring 2027
• Implement features in a Scrum/Agile environment
• Interest in operating systems, containers and deploying highly-reliable, mission-critical software at scale.
• Ability to program in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, python, ruby, or Go)
• Basic understanding of containerized services like Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of RDBMs', NoSQL databases, Containers or Application Servers (experience in one or more preferred)
• Basic understanding of networking, encryption, authentication and authorization
• Experience using with a cloud web service and its API (AWS/GCP)
• Interest or experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, especially Terraform
• Past summer internship experience, ideally in enterprise software companies

Okta's Intern Program As an intern, you'll do real work that matters. While you're on board, you'll work on meaningful projects and have an opportunity to see what working at Okta is all about. You'll also have the assistance of your mentor and manager to help you develop new skills.

Our interns have the opportunity to build a strong community - with their fellow interns, within their teams, and with the broader company. We want you to grow professionally and you'll do that through participating in events like our Executive Speaker Series and Brown Bags. And of course, we want you to have fun too.

We offer 12-week summer internships in the U.S. with two available start dates. You may choose from the following options: May 26-August 14 or June 15-September 4.
