Responsibilities

Manages EPIC/enterprise system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting. Design, develop, and deliver training programs and educational materials for new and existing employees across various departments. Provide expert, hands-on training on Epic workflows and features to maximize user proficiency and system adoption. Conduct ongoing training sessions, refresher courses, and skill validation exercises to maintain a high level of staff competency. Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems. Act as a liaison for departments regarding Epic and clinical system issues, bridging the gap between end-users and technical teams.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Knowledge of MS Office and Windows operating system platforms.
  3. 1 year of applicable work experience required.
  4. Working knowledge of a Health Information System preferred.
  5. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.
