What to Expect
The Processor provides high-volume administrative and underwriting support for Tesla Insurance Services. This role focuses on photo verification, document accuracy, fraud/red-flag identification, and managing large email queues using templated, non-agent responses. Processors handle essential repeatable tasks that ensure agents and underwriters can focus on customer and licensing-required work. This is a non-licensed, primarily back-office role that requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and speed.
What You'll Do
Review and verify photo submissions, including odometer readings, vehicle condition/inspection photographs, VIN documentation, and garaging address verification - Identifymisrepresentation or fraud red flags and escalate them to underwriting or licensed agents
- Document findings accurately in internal systems
- Complete manual review tasks including discount validation, document verification and queue-driven workflow assignments
- Maintainconsistent processing pace regardless of daily volume
Manage the email queue by triaging, sorting, and routing incoming messages, responding solely with approved templated responses while strictly avoiding any language or actions that could constitute licensed insurance activity, and escalating all customer policy-related questions to licensed agents Identify inconsistencies, suspicious submissions, or potential misrepresentation
What You'll Bring
- 1+ year of administrative or processing experience preferred
- Strong attention to accuracy and high-volume task management
- Comfortable working within multiple systems, databases, and Microsoft tools
- Ability to follow structured workflows and escalate appropriately
- Strong written communication skills for templated email responses
- Insurance experience helpful, but no license required
