Summary:The Supply Chain Order Fulfillment Specialist willbe responsible foractively supporting company goals in the analysis of business operations that minimize company cost, maximize process efficiencies, and improvethe customerexperience. This positionwilloptimizethe Customer Supply Chain by interacting with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Customers Transportation, and Warehouse Teams to guaranteeon-timeservice and in full to our customers while maximizing revenue and minimizing costs.

This position will engage in cross departmental communication to provide analytical and tactical support for continuous supply chain improvement. The specialist will be a key support role for filling orders to completion and coordinating with sales on potential and existing business. This position works closely with various cross functional teams and levels. This individual willassistdemand planning with analysis of sales reporting, sales forecasting, systems functionality, as well as ad hoc analysis.

  • Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with internal customers; Supply and Demand Planners, Operations, Traffic and Sales Managers/Coordinators to address demand-related issues and prioritize needs based on orders and forecasts.
  • Serve as a "help desk" to sales and sales coordinators by providing answers to questions, solutions to problems, and guidance through the ordering process.
  • Identifymaterial risks, develop mitigationplansand recommendations to manage service levels.
  • Coordinate flow of information to production, category managers, traffic, distributioncenterand sales for optimization andmitigatingrisks.
  • Manage orders and inventory to maximize fill rate and on time deliveries.
  • Prioritize inventory to fill customerordersapplying an ABC analysis approach.
  • Identifyproblematic areas andassessthe status for benefit realization and effectiveness of process improvement efforts.
  • Findsolutions for problem orders and develop mitigation plans and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Reporting and communication of Fill Rate, Forecasts, and Inventory with Sales Team and/or Customers.
  • Seek processefficienciesto reduce costs andmaintainor improve margins.
  • IdentifyMaster Data issues that need resolution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly pay rate range of $28 to $31 per hour.

Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Minimum Requirements

RequiredQualifications:

  • Proficient and experienced in MS Office programs.
  • Proficient and experienced in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software)

PreferredEducation & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role,demonstratingcomprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management,logistics, and demand forecasting.

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and must be flexible, innovative, and comfortable insettingown priorities.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

Physical/Mental demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.
