Rack Refrigeration Service Technician

As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you'll be the expert who keeps essential refrigeration systems operating at their best. Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems-walkins, freezers, reachins, rack systems, and more.

• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.

• Troubleshooting and repairing systems with confidence and minimal supervision.

• Providing excellent customer service while representing Five Star Refrigeration in the field.

• Following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Participating in oncall rotations in a 24/7 service environment (with premium pay for oncall shifts).

• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.

• Assisting in other service areas when needed to support the team.

• 3+ years of handson experience in Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration.

• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.

• Technical training through apprenticeships, RSES, trade school, or equivalent experience.

• EPA Certification and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Experience working with a variety of refrigerants.

• A commitment to quality, strong problemsolving abilities, and a customerfocused mindset.
