Shift: Midnights 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with alternating weekend schedule

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

UNIT OVERVIEW:

25 bed unit. 70% adult women including hospice, 15% pediatric, 15% GYN/ post-partum. Employees on 28 care for all the different types of patients.
