- Support development and execution of marketing initiatives that increase visibility and customer awareness of Jamar's Architectural, Roofing, and Roofing Service offerings.
- Promote seasonal and service-focused capabilities-including snow/ice removal, ice dam prevention, roof repairs, inspections, and stormrelated services-through targeted campaigns and rapidresponse marketing.
- Enhance Jamar's digital presence by refining website content, optimizing SEO, elevating roofingspecific materials, and maintaining accurate Google Business and other digital listings.
- Create and maintain marketing assets such as onepagers, brochures, service menus, videos, and branded templates, with a focus on Roofing/Architectural/Service offerings and adaptability for other departments.
- Support content creation and campaign development that highlights service expertise, seasonal needs, customer maintenance cycles, and weather-driven opportunities.
- Assist with outreach efforts using historical customer databases to support prequalification, reengagement, and revitalization of past relationships.
- Develop and schedule social media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) showcasing services, seasonal messages, project highlights, safety topics, and educational materials.
- Collaborate across teams-including Architectural/Roofing/Roofing Service, other internal departments, and APi Group marketing-to ensure alignment, identify crossdepartment needs, and maintain consistent branding.
- Support expansion of service visibility in Duluth, the Iron Range, the Twin Cities, Eau Claire, Milwaukee, and other emerging markets, including promotion of lesser-known service offerings.
- Track and report engagement metrics for campaigns, digital activity, email communications, and social media, providing insights and recommendations to support decisionmaking.
- Contribute to companywide marketing initiatives as priorities allow, bringing creative ideas, new approaches, and industry research to support continuous improvement.
- Help build a scalable marketing foundation that can grow with the role and future organizational needs.
- Prepare a final presentation to summarize your internship experience and contributions to share with the team at the end of the program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
- Actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or related field of study, with at least one year of completed related coursework.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms).
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating and editing marketing content.
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and creativity in developing marketing materials.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with different departments.
- Professional attitude and ability to represent the company in a positive manner.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on projects.
Other Details:
- This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN.
- Anticipated to begin in May or June 2026 and run through August 2026, aligning with typical academic schedules.
- Work Hours: This is a full-time internship, approximately 40 hours per week during the program period.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with the ability to travel to on occasion if needed.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $17.50-$26.00. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
