Description

o The IT SAP Functional MM Procurement & IBP plays a key role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that meet business requirements.

o The IT SAP Functional MM Procurement & IBP will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate functional needs into effective SAP system solutions and ensure smooth system operations.



Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM - Procurement

o Analyze business requirements and design procurement solutions in SAP MM

o Configure and support:

o Purchasing organization, groups, and document types

o Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and scheduling agreements

o Release strategies and approval workflows

o Source determination, pricing, and vendor evaluation

o Manage vendor master data and material master integration

o Integrate MM with FI (invoice verification), WM/EWM, and PP

o Support inventory management and MRP-related procurement processes

o Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams

o Provide production support and issue resolution

SAP IBP

o Design and implement SAP IBP solutions, including:

o IBP for Demand

o IBP for Supply

o IBP for Inventory Optimization

o IBP S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)

o Configure planning areas, key figures, planning operators, and alerts

o Integrate SAP IBP with S/4HANA or ECC using CPI-DS

o Support demand forecasting, supply planning, and scenario simulations

o Lead data integration, master data alignment, and validation

o Support planning cycles, UAT, and go-live activities

Implementation & Support

o Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications

o Configure SAP modules according to business processes and best practices

o Support SAP implementations, enhancements, and rollouts

o Work with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to deliver functional solutions

o Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including process flows and configuration guides

o Participating in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)

o Identify and resolve functional issues and provide ongoing application support

o Assist in user training, change management, and knowledge transfer

o Ensure solutions comply with internal controls and system standards

o Support continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization



Required Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

o 6+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on MM Procurement and SAP IBP

o Hands-on experience in SAP MM procurement configuration

o Strong functional knowledge of procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes

o Experience with SAP IBP modules and planning concepts

o Knowledge of integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA/ECC

o Good understanding of master data dependencies and data quality

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

o Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities



Preferred Qualifications:

o SAP MM and/or SAP IBP certification

o Experience with S/4HANA MM

o Knowledge of CPI-DS, integration flows, and data models

o Experience in global rollout or transformation projects

o Exposure to Ariba or SRM

o Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects

o Exposure to SAP Fiori, reports, and interfaces

o Experience in global or multi-company SAP environments

o Industry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing

Work Environment:

o In the Ann Arbor office or other company facilities.

o May require travel between facilities, sister companies, suppliers, and customers.

o On-call support may be required during critical periods.
