Sr SAP Analyst - Digital Manufacturing

o The IT Senior SAP Functional - Digital Manufacturing (DM) plays a key role in leading the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that support critical business processes

o The IT Senior SAP Functional - Digital Manufacturing (DM) requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP system solutions.

o The IT Senior SAP Functional will play a key role in implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA projects.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PP (Production Planning)

o Configure and support SAP PP, including:

o Master Data (Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings)

o Demand Management & MRP

o Production & Process Orders

o Capacity Planning and Long-Term Planning (LTP)

o Support production order lifecycle: creation, release, confirmation, and settlement

o Integrate SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, CO, WM/EWM

SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM)

o Implement and support SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM / DMC) for shop-floor execution

o Configure Production Processes, Operations, and Resources in SAP DM

o Enable real-time data capture for:

o Production confirmations

o Quality inspections

o Scrap and rework

o Machine and operator activities

o Integrate SAP DM with SAP S/4HANA PP, EWM, and QM

o Support APIs, event-based integration, and message handling between SAP DM and S/4HANA

o Troubleshoot shop-floor execution issues and support manufacturing users

Implementation & Support

o Lead end-to-end SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) functional activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment

o Act as a subject matter expert for SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) modules

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze processes and recommend best-practice SAP solutions

o Configure SAP systems to meet business requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals

o Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration documents

o Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and migrations

o Coordinate with SAP technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to ensure seamless solution delivery

o Lead and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects

o Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous system improvements

o Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices

o Support change management, user training, and documentation efforts

o Support or participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or migrations

o Work with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Fiori applications

o Assist in data migration and system conversion activities

S/4HANA & Cloud (Preferred)

o Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing

o Understanding of BTP-based integrations for SAP DM

o Familiarity with Fiori apps for manufacturing and planning

o Basic knowledge of PP/DS or Advanced Planning is a plus

Required Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or IT

o 10+ years of hands-on SAP PP and DM experience

o 2+ years of hands-on SAP Digital Manufacturing experience

o Strong understanding of manufacturing execution and shop-floor processes

o Experience integrating SAP PP with SAP DM

o Knowledge of discrete or process manufacturing environments

o Understanding of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA tables, data flows, and reporting

o Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations

o Ability to lead workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical teams

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

o Experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

o SAP PP and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing certification

o Experience with SAP ME/MII migration to SAP DM

o Exposure to SAP BTP, APIs, and event-driven architecture

o Experience with EWM-DM integration

o SAP Global Implementation experience

o Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation

o Industry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing

o SAP Global Implementation experience
