FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm_ Position Summary The Physical Therapist administers to clients, according to physician's orders, various evaluations and therapeutic procedures and maintains a client record in accordance with State and Federal Regulations. This is a professional-level position operating independently. Work situations are varied and require initiative, analysis, interpretation of information from a variety of sources, a service-oriented individual, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision-making. Requirements Successful completion of a physical therapy program at a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or both; If licensed or registered prior to 1966, meets the alternative qualifications cited in the Medicare Conditions of Participation, Section 405, 12 or (1) (2) (3) (4) Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist Health Care Provider level CPR certification Current Washington state driver's license Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience Experience in Medicare Certified Home Health preferred Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state About Deaconess Hospital Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region. Deaconess is home to a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, Maternal Fetal Medicine program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It is the only hospital in the area with national accreditation in bariatric surgery. Deaconess provides high-quality inpatient, outpatient, surgical, diagnostic and emergency services. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $107,621.00 - $145,623.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
