Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM

Salary Range: $27 - $31 per hour

In this position you will perform the final heat test and documentation checks of all Hot Runner products to ensure adherence to Husky technical specifications as determined by drawings and schematics prior to shipment. Other responsibilities include Hot Runner assembly, spare part packaging, ISO documentation reviews, team member training, and monitoring necessary supplies needed in test area. Top candidates will have a highly technical mindset and strong electrical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the validation of components and assemblies in a lab environment
  • Use test equipment to conduct final tests of all Hot Runner products using Altanium Controllers
  • Review project documentation to ensure quality and customer specifications are met
  • Troubleshoot and repair test failures as necessary
  • Clearly communicate test failure modes to applicable Assembly Technician to facilitate corrective action
  • Define and update test procedures to ensure that tested systems meet design specifications
  • Work collaboratively on new product development and provide productive feedback
  • Must have a strong focus on quality
  • Mentor and assist entry level assemblers
  • Review and interpret production schedule to prioritize test queue

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment with diagnostics and troubleshooting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of the basic principles of electricity; must be comfortable powering up and testing high voltage controllers
  • Excellent understanding of electrical schematics and assembly drawings
  • Electrical circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with wiring and soldering
  • Use of basic hand and power tools
  • Knowledge and experience of basic software loading and associated trouble shooting
  • Understanding or basic knowledge of motor, servos, and electrical mechanical systems
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in electro-mechanic engineering strongly preferred
