Description

Global Director of Corporate Finance (Remote in USA)
Lead with Impact. Drive Financial Excellence Across Borders.
We're seeking a seasoned global finance leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving strategic outcomes, and creating systems that work. This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage the status quo-this is for a finance professional who sees the bigger picture, challenges assumptions, and delivers results that matter. The Reality
You'll oversee domestic and international accounting operations for our ecommerce division, managing complex financial reporting, leading budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You'll work directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives while building and developing a finance team that operates with precision and accountability.
This role requires someone who can balance the technical demands of US GAAP, international remeasurement, and multi-subsidiary consolidation with the leadership skills to develop talent and drive organizational change. What You'll Do
Financial Leadership & Strategy
  • Direct domestic and international accounting operations across all business units
  • Lead the ecommerce division's entire budgeting process
  • Forecast cash position and free cash flow with accuracy
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic metrics and special projects

Technical Excellence
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and management reporting
  • Maintain robust accounting systems, policies, and internal controls
  • Oversee transfer pricing compliance for foreign subsidiaries
  • Manage multiple audits (US external, 401K, subsidiary audits)
  • Navigate US GAAP in a manufacturing environment

Team Development
  • Build and lead high-performing accounting and finance teams
  • Partner with HR to attract and develop top talent
  • Coach and develop finance managers into future leaders
  • Foster creativity, initiative, and accountability across your department

Process Innovation
  • Identify and implement improvements that increase effectiveness
  • Challenge existing processes and seek better solutions
  • Leverage technology and systems to drive efficiency
What You Bring
Required
  • 12+ years in senior accounting or finance management roles
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP within manufacturing environments
  • International accounting and remeasurement experience
  • Proven track record in financial budgeting and planning
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance

Highly Valued
  • CPA certification
  • ERP systems expertise (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Visual Mfg, MS Dynamics)
  • SQL query skills
  • BI tools experience (Qlikview, MS Power Query, Tableau)
  • Experience leading through organizational change
The Environment
Remote Home-Office-based role with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas. Less than 10% travel. You'll spend significant time at your computer, but more importantly, you'll spend time developing people, solving complex problems, and driving financial strategy. What Matters Here
We value accountability, transparency, and leaders who get things done. We don't do fluff-we do impact. If you're someone who asks tough questions, double-checks assumptions, and builds systems that create lasting value, let's talk.

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in our application and employment processes.
