Flint Hills Resources LC (FHR) is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant that will support our pipelines and terminals (P&T) business in Beaumont, TX. This role will be a key team member for our operations group.

Our Team

The Senior Administrative Assistant will report to the Right of Way Supervisor and support a large team of people who are all based in our Texas operations group. This role will also routinely partner with a diverse team of professionals and collaborate with our other business locations across the United States.


What You Will Do

  • Assist with the procurement process (creating purchase requisitions, receiving material and handling choices) and purchase office supplies
  • Ability to travel up to 10% while supporting and managing offices in Beaumont and Deer Park.
  • Support various aspects of our Measurement, Projects, Compliance, and Operations capabilities to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Plan and execute all aspects of large business meetings, company-sponsored functions, and special events to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up monitors, guiding them through office procedures, and providing necessary support.
  • Oversee the company car fleet, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, licensed, and available for business use as needed.
  • Help and support during emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective response to mitigate risks and maintain safety standards.
  • Take initiative as a highly motivated self-starter to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support shared objectives and a positive team environment
  • Proactively contributes to the achievement of team goals and overall organizational success

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Five (5) years' experience in an office, corporate or other professional setting
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite or similar systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems (conference room equipment, computers, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas business
  • ERP software experience
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
