Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Range: Starting Pay will range between $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Assembler with MIG and TIG welding experience to perform a variety of tasks in conjunction with the assembly of our products. This role is responsible for assembling components, performing MIG and TIG welding as required, and ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality specifications for the final product. The ideal candidate will safely perform high-level, continuous production work while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards. Assignments may vary based on business demands.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform assembly and testing of industrial machinery and compression equipment following standard work procedures.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, diagrams, and specifications to assemble components accurately.

  • Operate pneumatic, power, and hand tools to complete assembly, welding, wiring, painting, and related tasks.

  • Inspect parts and finished products to detect quality defects and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Load and unload equipment using fork trucks and hoists; support material handling and inventory activities.

  • Maintain tools and equipment, initiate repair work orders as needed, and ensure proper upkeep.

  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with all safety rules and procedures.

  • Collaborate with team members, support cross-functional tasks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.




Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is required.

  • Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.

  • MIG & TIG welding.

  • 3+ years experience welding to exact ASME specifications.

  • Must know proper purging techniques for stainless steels.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds from floor to waist. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job; including, but not limited to, power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.

  • Ability to identify routine problem causation, and correct routine problems, and willingness to learn.

  • Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions.

  • Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others.

  • Must possess ability to work well in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.

  • Must be able to work in a multi-tasked environment.



Preferences:


  • 3+ years in manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, precision measurement, blueprint reading and pipefitting is preferred.

  • Ability to complete X-ray quality work to ASME B31.3

  • Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

  • Reaching and handling with high levels of dexterity.

  • Occasionally required to work near moving mechanical equipment.

  • Frequent exposure to various chemicals, sealants, and lubricants.

  • Occasionally required to work outside where weather conditions range from moderate cold to moderate heat.

  • Normal exposure to moderate noise levels. Occasional exposure to high noise, levels where hearing protection will be required.



Pay Range: Starting Pay will range between $28.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
