FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Day Shift, 8 hours Position Summary The Patient Financial Navigator Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of patient financial navigation services, organization-wide, providing a patient-centered focus to ensure a positive patient experience. The Manager sets, implements and ensures compliance with all regulations, operational policies, standards and guidelines; maintains effective communication with patients, insurance carriers, and other partners to resolve issues that impede cash flows and detract from patient satisfaction; monitors quality and productivity through reporting; provides continual process improvement; identifies trends and operational deficiencies, and manages corrective action plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes; assists in the development and monitoring of budgets; performs community outreach; produces/presents operational metrics; builds and maintains vendor relationships; optimizes standardized workflows across the billing process and continually enhances solution capabilities for patient expectations. Requirements One (1) year of business or college course work National Association of Access Management Certification preferred Completion of a medical terminology course or proficiency preferred Minimum three (3) years health care related healthcare collection, financial counseling or billing experience required Patient Registration experience required Why MultiCare? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.07 - $28.87 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
