Description

Provides monitoring and operational support to the Asset Based Lending group related to collections, collateral, credit analysis and documentation. Provides customer service at the highest levels, which will include performing research with an emphasis on reconciling account/customer issues and detecting fraud. Ensures all transactions and processes are following the company's policies and procedures. Also responsible for processing account receivable transactions for commercial customers. Items must be sorted and scanned for remote deposit and then scanned into our imaging application, keyed, balanced, and finalized.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a primary borrower contact for all matters relating to loan and banking operations in conjunction with the Portfolio Manager
  • Monitors loans by obtaining accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory valuations. Uses these reports to reconcile total receivables and total ineligible receivables on weekly or monthly basis. May perform month-over-month analysis for the purpose of determining if receivables have been fraudulently inflated.
  • Works with Cash Administrators to reconcile loan deposit accounts frequently and accurately
  • Collects and applies various fees on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for monitoring various reports for multiple customers including, but not limited to, borrowing base certificates, month-end summaries and dilution activity.
  • Provides proactive monitoring of assigned Asset Based Lending (ABL) portfolio to ensure available collateral supports risk and loan outstandings.
  • Promptly and accurately processes advances, requests and payments on large commercial lines of credit.
  • Analyze sales, credit memos, and collection activity for unusual transactions or behavior.
  • Communicates with field examiners to relay any concerns and incorporate relevant field exam findings into determining collateral eligibility.
  • Collecting all the transaction and deposit information made through various channels (commercial remote deposit, ACH etc.) and ensuring they are complete, accurate, and balanced.
  • Confirming and approves outgoing wire transfers and maintaining wire templates when necessary.
  • Assists senior underwriters on an as-needed basis.
  • Attends team portfolio meetings and addresses questions related to collateral and reporting
  • Reviews loan documentation to create setup worksheets, prepares loan system setup, and then submits forms for uploading for new and renewing loans.
  • Actively participates in the onboarding of new customers.
  • May assist Ops Manager when needed.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.


Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience: 2 year job-specific experience

  • Advanced working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to read, understand and apply requirements of varying loan agreements as they apply to responsibilities above
