Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a senior Infrastructure Engineer providing advanced technical leadership and hands-on support to enhance the digital experience across a hybrid, enterprise environment. You will act as a key escalation point and onsite lead in a high-touch, executive-facing office, guiding daily operations while mentoring junior engineers. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable, secure, and modern end-user technology solutions, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and drive continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex end-user, device, network, and collaboration technology issues.
  • Coordinate daily operational workflows, prioritize workloads, and ensure consistent service delivery across locations.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers.
  • Act as the onsite End User Technology lead in a high-visibility, executive-facing office environment.
  • Administer and support Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms in alignment with enterprise security standards.
  • Manage and optimize device lifecycle processes using endpoint and digital experience management tools.
  • Troubleshoot and support advanced conference room, Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and A/V technology environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams on escalations, rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Leverage digital experience analytics to proactively identify issues and improve employee technology performance.
  • Develop automation, scripts, and workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve endpoint reliability.
  • Lead or support technical delivery for enterprise projects such as OS upgrades, hardware refreshes, and tool integrations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement scalable improvements to prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Expertise with endpoint management and provisioning tools, including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Entra required.
  • Experience supporting and managing macOS environments using Jamf or similar MDM solutions required.
  • Hands-on proficiency with digital experience or endpoint telemetry platforms such as Nexthink or Tanium required.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise security practices required.
  • Experience supporting conferencing and collaboration technologies, including Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and A/V systems required.
  • Proficiency with automation or scripting using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workflows, mentor junior engineers, and support executive-level clients.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Jamf, or ITIL Foundations preferred.
  • Background in digital workplace engineering, endpoint automation, or experience monitoring preferred.
  • Familiarity with identity governance, endpoint compliance, zero-trust principles, or enterprise technology road mapping preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with a customer-first mindset.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
