Impact you will make


FinThrive is seeking a Vice President of Data Services to own the end-to-end customer data acquisition strategy across our full suite of healthcare revenue cycle solutions. This executive will be accountable for how customer data is specified, acquired, validated, integrated, monitored, and supported-from net-new onboarding revenue through long-term operational excellence and retention.


This is a hybrid executive role requiring both deep healthcare integration expertise (Epic, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, hospital source systems) and strong business leadership tied directly to revenue acceleration, onboarding efficiency, and customer outcomes.


The VP of Data Services will lead a global organization of ~80 professionals, including Epic/Cerner specialists, interface analysts, SFTP/file operations, integration engineers, and customer-facing data delivery teams.







What you will do


Major Responsibilities/Activities:


Customer Data Acquisition Strategy & Execution

  • Own FinThrive's customer-facing data acquisition strategy across all products and services.
  • Define and govern source system specifications, data intake standards, and integration patterns across Epic, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, and other hospital technologies.
  • Ensure scalable, repeatable, and secure onboarding data workflows that accelerate time-to-value and revenue recognition.
  • Lead ongoing data feed stability, accuracy, and performance for live customers.
  • Build relationships and advisory board with FinThrive customers senior technology leaders


Revenue Enablement & Business Outcomes

  • Serve as a revenue-critical leader supporting:


    • Net-new onboarding revenue
    • Expansion readiness
    • Reduced onboarding cycle times
    • Product migration enabler


  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation leaders to align data readiness with go-live and commercial milestones.
  • Translate technical complexity into clear executive-level risk, timeline, and impact assessments.


Healthcare Integrations & Technical Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight and technical credibility across:


    • Complex HL7, flat-file, API, and hybrid integrations
    • Large-scale SFTP file management, monitoring, and exception handling
    • Multi-system hospital environments and custom source system builds


  • Establish best practices for data validation, reconciliation, and exception management.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for high-risk customer data challenges.


Organizational Leadership & Scale

  • Lead, develop, and scale a global Data Services organization (~80 FTEs) across the U.S. and India.
  • Build a strong leadership bench (directors, senior managers) capable of operating at FinThrive's scale and growth trajectory.
  • Drive operating rigor: capacity planning, utilization, quality metrics, and delivery consistency.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-first execution.


Governance, Tools & Enablement

  • Own customer-facing data tools, monitoring platforms, documentation, and specifications.
  • Establish clear governance for:


    • Integration standards
    • Change management
    • Source system onboarding playbooks


  • Partner with Product and Engineering on roadmap alignment where data acquisition impacts product scalability.


Success Metrics

  • Reduced customer onboarding cycle times
  • Increased onboarding revenue throughput
  • Improved data feed stability and reliability
  • Reduced customer-reported data issues
  • Scalable global delivery model with predictable outcomes



What you will bring



  • 10+ years in healthcare technology, data services, integrations, or related domains.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Epic EMR, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, and hospital source systems.
  • Proven leadership of large, global customer-facing data or integration teams (50+ preferred).
  • Deep experience with:


    • Complex healthcare integrations
    • HL7 / flat-file / API models
    • Large-scale SFTP and file operations


  • Demonstrated ability to connect technical execution to revenue and customer outcomes.
  • Previous hospital CTO experience highly desired
  • Executive presence and ability to operate as a trusted SLT partner.
