Position Summary
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking an Academic Neuropathologist for a tenure-track/tenured, variable, or fixed-term position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with an FTE of 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE.

This position will involve diagnostic surgical neuropathology, autopsy neuropathology and ophthalmologic pathology; preferably with a second area of interest in a sub-specialized surgical pathology service, autopsy, or research. The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and will contribute to the teaching of residents, fellows, medical students, and graduate students.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Medical Doctorate degree, be board-certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology and be eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.
