ETL Architect (Azure Data Architect) Opportunity to Lead Enterprise-Scale Data Engineering in a Highly Impactful Environment Step into a role where your data engineering expertise directly shapes the future of a missioncritical enterprise platform. As the ETL Architect, you'll design and optimize data integration processes for a cloudbased Data Warehouse/Data Lake environment built on Azure. You'll work with modern tools such as Azure Synapse and Power BI to enable advanced analytics, ensure data quality and security, and drive best practices in data governance. This is a handson technical leadership role where you'll collaborate with crossfunctional teams, guide architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. If you're passionate about building scalable data solutions, elevating data maturity, and owning architecture decisions endtoend, this role offers the autonomy and impact you're looking for. What You'll Do * Architect and develop highperformance ETL pipelines for a large Azurebased data platform. * Build scalable, secure data integration workflows supporting analytics and reporting. * Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across all data processes. * Leverage Azure Synapse, Power BI, and related cloud technologies to enable enterprise insights. * Serve as a technical leader and mentor for junior data engineers. * Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define data requirements and integration strategies. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. * Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL design, and Azure cloud services. * Deep understanding of data governance, security protocols, and RBAC within Azure. * Proven ability to design resilient, efficient ETL processes aligned with regulatory standards. * Completion of Security Awareness Training within 30 days of hire. * Ability to pass a Level II background check. Preferred Qualifications * Microsoft certifications such as: * Azure Data Engineer Associate * Azure Solutions Architect Expert * Azure Fundamentals * Azure Databricks Data Engineer Associate certification. Experience Level Intermediate to Senior-level experience in data engineering or data architecture. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $105.00 - $115.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
