This role requires the individual to be on site full time and most reside in NE or IA.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing application maintenance and support for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position will have knowledge of all aspects of the ERP system and its database schema. This individual will design, develop, test, and deploy system modifications, as well as changes to other applications that integrate with the ERP system. Also, this role requires the documentation of requirements, technical specifications, testing, and all required documents to comply with procedures for verified and validated applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Programming Duties
1.Install, configure, and modify parameters of the ERP application software.
2.Create and modify forms, stored procedures, database structures, jobs, scripts, reports, vendor supplied utilities, etc., to provide solutions to business user needs with application software from third party providers, as well as internally developed software.
3.Comply with relevant standards and regulations including documentation of requirements, technical documentation, testing, and all required documents to comply with procedures for verified and validated applications.
4.Assist with the validation of the back-up, recovery, and disaster recovery parameters of application software from third party providers.
5.Document developed code and systems, or changes made to software applications from third party providers.
6.Assist in support and troubleshooting of problems or incidents.
7.Perform other duties as assigned.
Business Analysis Duties
1.Analyze and document user requirements.
2.Define scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, and objectives with the business.
3.Identify and assist in the resolution of issues, problems, or disruptions.
4.Document current or potential impacts to processes, business operations, and the organization.
5.May take direction and guidance from other Software Engineers, Software Assurance Engineers, DBAs or IT management.
6.Provide direct assistance to users in use and interpretation of the ERP software application.
7.Handle phone and email support as directed. Each incident will be documented in the support ticket application.
8.Attend seminars, conferences, and user groups to learn about upcoming features and develop working relationships with other users of the ERP software.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor or Associate degree in business or computer science, or combination of associate degree and at least 1 year of work experience can substitute.
*Some work experience in business analysis and programming computer software applications.
*PC proficiency with good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
*Solid working knowledge of personal computers, database concepts, and networks.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL DEMANDS:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 5%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and completion of presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with all travel recommendations regarding "safe travel" according to company policies and guidelines, and all federal, state, local, and international orders.
**PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects. This also includes standing for up to two and a half hours consecutively, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, stooping, fingering, and grasping. Expressing and receiving detailed information through written and oral communication. Also has an ability to make sound, appropriate, and prompt decisions within the guidelines of the role.
