2026 Summer Intern - Software Engineering

Masimo is looking for summer interns to join our Software Engineering team. Job Summary:

These positions will support phases of the software development lifecycle for our current portfolio and upcoming product releases.

Potential Teams:

Applicants will be considered for one or more of the following Software Engineering teams.

• Instrument Software
• Software Solutions
• iOS
• Cloud & Web Systems
• Drivers & Systems Software
• UX/UI Design

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interface within a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with any of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, Python, Swift, Objective-C.
• Computer skills (Web): Java programming, Spring framework, REST and/or web services. Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular and React a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) a plus.

Education:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering.
• Must be a current university student to qualify as an intern. Alum candidates and students graduating May/June 2026 are not eligible for intern opportunities.

Location:

• This position will report on-site in Irvine, CA.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $22/hr - $25/hr.
