Application Window Open date: January 5, 2026 Next review date: Tuesday, Jan 20, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jul 5, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Junior Specialist - Adam Lab The Junior Specialist will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Adam in his research program to advance our understanding about the care and management of patients with abdominal cancers. The research program is a multidisciplinary in nature and includes several clinicians and clinical scientists and data scientists who work together to answer pressing questions in the field of cancer care. A big focus of the group is leveraging advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence platforms to integrate clinical, imaging, and molecular data. We are a team with members from various backgrounds who are poised to advance methods and knowledge in Oncology as well as promote the professional and personal development of all members of our team. This position will work jointly with Dr. Adam's and Dr. Julian Hong's group to support ongoing clinical and translational research projects. This position will be trained on how to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret research data. The position will also be helping with data analysis, manuscript and grant writing. Specialists appointed at the Junior rank must have a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) in biology, computer science or a related field or at least four years of research experience.
