Ultrasound Intern, Mercy South

The Ultrasound Intern will work under the supervision of licensed sonographers, radiologists, and the Radiology Manager to assist in the daily operations of the ultrasound department. This position provides handson training and exposure to diagnostic sonography techniques, with a focus on developing both the practical and theoretical foundations of ultrasound technology. The intern will assist with patient preparation, support sonographers during examinations, help maintain workflow by stocking and preparing rooms, and continue growing in general and vascular ultrasound. This position is open to candidates currently enrolled in an accredited ultrasound program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in certified Ultrasound Training Program or in a school of ultrasound imaging.
