We Require
Two years of experience performing specialized clerical duties such as drafting memos and correspondence, gathering data for reports, and providing customer service duties High school diploma or GED Post-secondary education may substitute for the minimum experience on a year-for-year basis
Other Requirements
Valid Arizona driver's license upon hire The Maricopa County Attorney's Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs. Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and prior to placement

Locate, order, pull, create, and organize case files Enter and retrieve case information from various databases, including the Motor Vehicle Department, Justice Court database, and Superior Court database, among others Perform statistical data collection and tracking Prepare various correspondence Research persons' information in state and national criminal history databases Maintain a current TOC with the Department of Public Safety Enter data in the case management system using information provided by law enforcement Assist in entering case disposition entries Assist in scanning and uploading case files and documents, such as certified criminal history records
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in high high-volume, fast-paced legal office environment Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities May require travel to and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business Ability to lift boxes and/or pull a mailcart weighing 25 - 40 pounds Hybrid and alternative work schedules are available upon successful completion of the 6-12-month probationary period
