Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol in Waynesboro, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas to help maintain a secure environment at the location.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with emergency response protocols and support evacuation procedures as needed at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
