Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you would check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include: handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover.

• Position-Specific Benefits include: You are eligible for up to 160 hours of paid time off per year based on your Full or Part Time status. Surgical Techs are eligible for $4.25/hr for On-Call pay. Position: Surgical Technician
Shift: 7:00am -3:30pm Monday - Friday, no holidays no weekends.

Experience:
One year of Operating Room experience preferred.

Education:
Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.

Licensures/Certifications:
Surgical Technician Certification (CST) Preferred.

Certified Surgical Technologist (by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required upon hire if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.
