What You Do.

Daily Responsibilities:



  • Analyze and Process non-routine and exception accounts payables transactions.
  • Responsible for SAP Good Received/Invoice Received reporting, including reconciling discrepancies.
  • Maintains strong interaction with Procurement, Shipping/Receiving, Engineering and IT departments to ensure proper invoice approval and coding into the general ledger.
  • Investigate invoice pricing and quantity differences
  • Develop expertise with certain vendors to help identify where efficiencies can be made and to ensure all invoices paid are processed accurately and timely.
  • Provide backup to the other Accounts Payable team members when needed
  • Prioritize and organize workflow and be able to handle routine inquires and other tasks simultaneously
  • Possess a strong understanding of accounts payable sales and use tax guidelines, working with the Tax Department when necessary
  • Answer routine accounts payable vendor inquiries, audit and statement reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Forward sensitive or complex vendor issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
  • Maintain excellent client service relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Understand and appreciate the importance of confidentiality related to vendor invoices and internal and external relationships.


System Proficiency



  • Maintain a high level of proficiency and understanding on how financial transactions flow through SAP,
  • Maintain strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel for various tasks


Your Education and Experience.



  • Bachelors Degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university and two to four years experience in accounting or finance department.
