Daikin Applied is seeking aMarketing Manager, Data Center Equipment and Solutions who will drive strategic marketing initiatives to position our data center equipment and solutions portfolio for success in a competitive marketplace. Acting as the central marketing liaison, this role aligns efforts across sister companies to deliver a unified value proposition, integrating complementary technologies into all go-to-market strategies. The Marketing Manager partners closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to define product positioning, execute launches, and ensure clear competitive differentiation. By connecting product messaging to customer needs, this role develops and oversees marketing programs that equip sales teams with compelling tools and resources to win in the market. What you will do:

  • Lead go to market plans for new and existing equipment
  • Define and refine product and solutions positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation in the data center market and alignment with customer needs
  • Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with Product Marketing, Engineering, National Accounts, and the Data Center Business Unit, delivering timely and impactful marketing assets
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison across sister companies, ensuring joint value propositions and complementary technologies are integrated into all go-to-market strategies
  • Support lifecycle marketing initiatives from new product introduction (NPI) through end-of-life (EOL), providing insights and customer feedback to inform product roadmaps
  • Develop compelling marketing collateral and digital assets-including presentations, brochures, and videos-to enable sales teams and enhance customer engagement
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners to ensure high-quality creative execution, timely delivery, and alignment with brand and business objectives
  • Equip sales teams with training and tools that improve product knowledge and selling effectiveness
  • Manage content for digital channels such as websites, email campaigns, and social media to drive awareness and demand
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize impact and ROI

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts, journalism, communications or marketing
  • 8 years of proven experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, go-to-market strategy, and product launches. Preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
  • Knowledge of HVAC, data center technologies or related B2B equipment markets
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused messaging
  • Excellent strategic thinking and project management skills for complex launches and campaigns
  • Skilled in content development for collateral, presentations, and digital assets
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance and optimize marketing programs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across teams and external partners
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in the HVAC, data center industry or related technology sectors

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from$113,800k - $188,300k and a bonus potential up to 25%. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
