Who We Are Looking For



Crisis24, a global integrated risk management organization, is currently recruiting for an Intelligence Analyst to work in its Global Intelligence department. The role will be based in Annapolis (US), London, (UK), Paris (France), Cape Town (South Africa), Konstanz (Germany), Bangalore (India) or Singapore. It will have a main (but not exclusive) focus on aviation issues and other infrastructural challenges.



What You Will Work On



  • You will serve as Crisis24's lead aviation subject matter expert for both internal and external audiences.
  • You will provide security and business disruption analysis within Crisis24's Global Intelligence department considering events impacting travel safety and security, incidents resulting in airline disruption, and aviation safety and security incidents.
  • You will maintain and expand Crisis 24's World Airline Monitor (WAM), a safety-focused database of global airlines, and write Crisis24's monthly Aviation Safety Newsletter.
  • You will respond to client requests for information related to aviation.
  • You will provide regular Special Reports, webinars, blog postings, and other material analyzing trends or events in aviation that could impact Crisis24 clients.
  • You will support the Crisis24 Threat Detect Center in informing and advising clients regarding aviation-related incidents and disruptions.
  • You will maintain Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for non-aviation analysts to use when covering aviation issues. You will assist in training generalist analysts for cross-coverage.



Who You Will Work With


You will be part of the Transportation team, which assesses threats to the aviation and maritime sectors and global supply chains. You will also be expected to work alongside the Crisis24 regional analysis teams and with other Crisis24 branches.


What You Will Bring



  • Outstanding research, analysis and professional writing skills in an analytical environment.
  • Strong familiarity with aviation safety and security issues, sources of aviation news and data, and understanding of current trends in the aviation industry.
  • Ability to effectively and confidently translate complex aviation concepts into analytical works that can be easily understood by non-expert audiences.
  • Ability to rapidly discern actionable information and disseminate pertinent information, concern, and risk mitigation. measures to a vast and diverse audience.
  • Understanding of the commercial world and what aviation safety and security issues matter to businesses, and ability to make balanced, business-relevant analytical judgments.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to expand knowledge of aviation safety and security issues.
  • Ability to manage own time, handle concurrent tasks and responsibilities, meet regular deadlines, work independently and effectively handle time pressures.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal communications skills and ability to handle requests from a wide variety of different teams.
  • Basic IT skills, including effective use of Microsoft Office suite of programs and online mapping tools.


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; postgraduate degree in related discipline advantageous.
  • Airline industry experience highly desired.
  • Journalism experience desirable.
  • Pilot license with instrument rating desirable.
  • Foreign language desirable.
