Job Description: This position performs all tasks associated with the production of product from material staging, operation of equipment, in-process testing, and packaging. This position utilizes both manual and automated systems along with analytical results to monitor and adjust the process, as needed, to produce a consistent, in specification product. Daily Activities: Daily Operations (70 %) * Perform raw material staging for batches. * Operate production vessels, including batch reactors and blenders * Use automated and manual process controls to adjust process parameters * Package finished products in drums and IBCs * Complete batch sheets, logbooks and other records neatly and accurately. * Sample batches and perform in-process Quality Control testing. * Perform other duties or training as required or requested. Additional Duties and Functions (30 %) * Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by performing minor maintenance. * Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment and process issues. * Complete required safety training. Qualifications: Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal. * Good mechanical aptitude * Good troubleshooting abilities. * Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Ability to work independently. * Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support other departments. * Exhibit good judgement, dependability, initiative and a positive attitude. * Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. * 3+ years of chemical environment experience. * Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, or other hours as required. * Experience in forklift operation. * Ability to perform physical essentials (climb stairs and/or ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, wear FRC uniforms, wear full face respirator occasionally) | |
