Overview We are seeking a Critical Care Charge RN, also referred to as an CCU Charge RN or Critical Care Unit Charge RN. The Critical Care Charge RN (CCU Charge RN) is an experienced critical care nurse who functions as a leader and supervisor for a nursing unit during a shift. Their responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing patient flow and admissions/discharges, coordinating with the care team, ensuring staff are assigned effectively, providing support and feedback to other nurses, and acting as a liaison for patients, families, and other departments. This role requires strong critical care clinical expertise, leadership, and communication skills to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient unit functioning in a demanding environment.
