Position Summary Responsible for picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tools, merchandise, and parts orders for various distribution needs. Processes shipping, picking, and packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other related records while adhering to assigned work instructions and required shipping methods to meet schedules. Follows established procedures for handling tool and parts inventory. Duties & Responsibilities
Perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition of shipments Process stock and ship products in accordance with standardized logistical processes Perform loading and unloading operations in compliance with receiving and shipping specifications Conduct inventory-related processes, including inventory counts and cycle counts Operate various types of material handling equipment and maintain forklift certification Participate in Lean Production initiatives within the organization Maintain required logs and reports for the Warehouse Supervisor Move shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage and work areas as directed Work with company software and computer systems to process orders and inventory Follow all safety rules and guidelines Report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor in the Shipping and Receiving area Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws Receive, pick, pack, and ship various types of Ames products, tools, merchandise, and parts
Basic Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to read and write routine documents and correspondence Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all company levels
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
