Flight Nurse - Base Clinical Lead - Starting at $115K-165K+ BCL Stipend

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Flight Nurse Base Clinical Lead Opportunity

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision, guidance and direction of the Program Director, the Base Clinical Lead provides
operational support and guidance to the flight crews of their assigned base(s), ensuring peak operational readiness
and exemplary performance. The Base Operations Lead is an individual contributor role with a specific set of
administrative responsibilities in addition to a Flight Nurse/Flight Paramedic's primary and regularly expected flight
line duties. These additional duties are compensated with a stipend and include the following:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUITES
  • Assists in the oversight of and provides direction for day-to-day operations at the base
  • Assists in managing scheduling, shift coverage, on-call, trades and PTO for clinical staff
  • Supports the supply officer in overseeing the management and tracking of equipment, medications, and supplies
  • Assists in the management of the day to day base facility needs
  • Assists with marketing and public relations as requested
  • Manages minimum shift requirements for PT clinical staff
  • Assists in the planning and facilitation of regularly scheduled base meetings; completes and uploads attendance rosters and meeting minutes
  • Assists with the planning and coordination of base related events and/or demos
  • Manages routine maintenance events for vehicle(s) assigned to a base
  • Takes an active role to promote and uphold a strong safety culture
  • Serves as a resource, coach/mentor for base personnel, acting as a role model for policy and procedure adherence and operational excellence
  • Assists with new employee orientation
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic in State of assignment
  • Possesses the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of employees, managers, and other health care, regulatory and/or business professionals
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of appropriate day-to-day operational performance, company policy and procedure
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses team building skills
  • Well-organized, analytical and self-motivated
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to issues or concerns
  • Basic computer skills (word processor, database)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in State of assignment

Preferred experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year employment with REACH
  • Minimum of six (6) months of supervisory or management experience
