DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will play an essential role in providing skilled maintenance services for both the on-site and off-site facilities of the Farm Show Complex. Your work ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the year, particularly during vendor-controlled events and routine maintenance activities that keep the facilities functioning at their best. You will address maintenance needs as they arise, support the smooth execution of events, and help maintain an environment that is welcoming and fully operational for all visitors and staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across on-site and off-site facilities.
- Supporting safe and efficient operations during vendor-controlled events and routine facility activities.
- Ensuring all building systems and equipment operate properly to maintain a functional event environment.
- Responding promptly to maintenance issues and working to resolve them effectively.
- Contributing to the overall success of the complex by helping maintain clean, safe, and reliable facilities.

- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly.
- Available Shifts:
- Thursday - Monday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Thursday - Monday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
- Thursday - Monday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualification (not required):
- Experience working around animals and livestock and in large-scale public events.
